Two of South Africa’s biggest meal kit delivery companies, Daily Dish and Day to Day, have decided to team up and operate as one merged company, Daily Dish by day to day. The new company will be based in Cape Town, and have production facilities in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The two companies shared the same values and goal of making it easy for families to cook healthy, fresh meals. By teaming up they realized they could offer their customers more flexibility, a wider choice of meals weekly, fresher ingredients and overall a better quality service.
Daily Dish now offers the following meal plans: Express, Family, Carb Conscious, Fitness, and Vegetarian. Customers can also swap and change meals between the plans, giving them a total of 25 different meals to choose from weekly – the biggest selection offered to South Africans by any meal kit delivery company. All of the meals are designed with the goals of health, taste, and convenience in mind by their dedicated Professional Chef Gino Sedres and in-house registered dietician Mariella Sawyer.
Daily Dish’s meal kits are delivered weekly on Mondays and contain everything you need to make healthy, delicious meals for 3 or 4 nights a week:
Step by step recipe cards and pre-portioned ingredients from trusted local suppliers. There’s no getting “locked-in” to a contract, as customers can pause, resume or switch their subscription from week to week.
